Club Tractor  Trek – 15 April


All intending participants must notify, no later than 8 April, Col Fotheringham on 4579 6350 or Joe Zahra on 4579 6914, so catering can be organised. A charge of $15.00 will be made, payable on the day, which covers breakfast from 7.00am, morning tea, and a BBQ lunch after the event. Departure is at 8.00am.

All vehicles must be registered or have a valid RMS (RTA) permit for the trip. Upon arrival at Col Fotheringham’s place, participants must register, pay, and confirm their vehicle’s registration or permit status. To assist those obtaining a permit (we suggest you take a copy of this newsletter with you to the Motor Registry), the route is as follows:

Start at 11 Blacktown Rd, Freemans Reach, travel via Blacktown, Kurmond, McKinnons, Geakes, Creek Ridge, Stannix Park, Lockhart, Sackville, Tizzana and Coromandel Roads for the morning tea stop. Return is from Coromandel via Tizzana, Sackville, West Portland, Bull Ridge, Putty, East Kurrajong, Old East Kurrajong, Lamrock Ave, Creek Ridge, Godalla, Joshua, Geakes, Vollers Lane and Blacktown Roads.

Except for very short distances, all travel is on secondary roads. The total distance is 47Km. 
 
Owners of Club Registered vehicles must of course notify Registrar Steve Muscat of their intention to participate in the event beforehand. All drivers must be licensed, and passengers may only be carried in accordance with the RMS Historic Vehicle Clubs Policy.
