About the Junior Group

The Junior Group is designed for young people who want to explore antique machinery, learn new skills and become part of a friendly community. Juniors participate in supervised activities, learn about machinery safety, and get involved in club events — including the Clarendon Classic Rally.

This group is open to:
  • Children and teens
  • Families with young enthusiasts
  • New learners with no prior experience
  • Young people interested in engineering, mechanics or history

What Juniors Learn

​Safety & Supervision

The safety of our Junior Members is extremely important. All junior activities are supervised by experienced club members, and parents or guardians must be present at events. We encourage safe learning, responsible behaviour and respect for machinery at all times.

​The Clarendon Classic Rally

The Clarendon Classic Rally is a fantastic opportunity for Junior Members to see machinery in action, meet exhibitors, and learn from experienced restorers. Juniors can help with displays, ask questions, and enjoy a full weekend of vintage machinery excitement.

How to Join

Joining is easy. Junior Membership is open to anyone under 18 with an interest in machinery or history. A parent or guardian must complete the membership form and accompany the junior at events.

We aim to create a safe, educational and enjoyable environment for young people. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate alongside their children, helping them learn and explore the world of vintage machinery.
