The Clarendon Classic Rally takes place annually on the third weekend of September at the Hawkesbury Showground. Spanning two days, Saturday and Sunday, it's an event that shouldn't be missed. Every year, the rally showcases a variety of machinery, including stationary engines, cars, trucks, tractors, buses, steam engines, and models, among others. Exhibitors are treated to free admission, complimentary camping, a welcoming BBQ on Friday night, and a Rally dinner on Saturday evening. 2026 “CLARENDON CLASSIC” RALLY – EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

General information to be read in conjunction with the Rally Registration Form

Rally Times:
  • Saturday 19/09/26 from 9.00am till 4.00pm.
  • Sunday 20/09/26 from 8.00am till 3.00pm.
  • The Showground must be completely cleared by noon Monday.

Setup Times:
  • Thursday 17/09/26 no entry to site for displays. This day is for event organizer's only.
  • Friday 18/09/26 9.00am - until late.
  • Saturday 19/09/26 6.00am – 7.45am all vehicles must be clear from the rally ground by 7.45am.
  • Sunday 20/09/26 6.00am – 7.45am all vehicles must be clear from rally ground by 7.45am.

REGISTRATION & INSURANCE:
  • NHMA and non-NHMA clubs are welcome.
  • All persons wishing to display working equipment must obtain a specific wristband from the registration office.
  • Public Liability Insurance Proof is required before issuing a wristband.
  • No insurance – no entry to compounds. Please bring your NHMA card or insurance certificate to the registration tent

SAFETY:
  • ‘Toolbox’ talks will be conducted in all working display compounds.
  • A nominated person in each compound will hold a copy of the SAMCI Safety Guidelines.
  • An inspection to confirm the safe setup of all machinery will be performed.
  • No person is permitted inside a compound without a wristband attached to their wrist.
  • Fences are to remain intact, and gates closed at all times when machinery is in operation.
  • For the safety of pedestrians on the rally ground, the vehicle speed limit is walking pace
  • No unauthorized vehicle movements allowed whilst the Rally is open to the public.

ACCESS:
  • Exhibitor access in Racecourse Road, Clarendon.
  • Entry via Gate 1 (adjacent to railway station).
  • All vehicles MUST exit via Gate 4.

PARKING:
  • All exhibitor vehicles to park in the allocated parking areas and must be clear of the rally area by 8.45am Saturday.

RESTRICTIONS:
  • The Showground is an alcohol-free area.
  • Dogs are permitted on leashes only.
  • NO FIRES of any sort except in steam powered or hot air machinery.
  • No Pyrotechnics allowed.
  • No arial drones to be flown in showground without the specific permission from the Rally Co-Ordinator.
  • No unauthorized utility vehicles other than mobility scooters are permitted to be driven whilst the rally is open to the public, that includes Golf Carts!
  • No electric scooters allowed.
